School Meals & Menus

Lunch Menus

The cost of lunch per day is currently £2.70 for KS2 pupils. School lunches are paid for online using your ParentMail account or ParentMail app.

If you are in receipt of certain benefits you may be eligible for Free School Meals. This benefit also helps towards costs for school trips.

Information about free school meals, including eligibility criteria, may be obtained from the Luton Borough Council’s customer Service Team on 01582 510346 or via email at RevenuesAdmin@luton.gov.uk.

Nursery:
Children attending nursery under the 30 hour provision will be required to bring a packed lunch. Parents are also asked to pay a charge of £2.00 per day to help cover the costs of staffing over the lunchbreak which is not included in the 30 hour funding.

Universal Infant Free School Meals for Children in Reception and KS1:
All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for the government scheme of Universal Infant free school meals. Please note that this scheme is different to the Free School Meal eligibility.

Packed Lunches:
Pupils, who chose not to have a hot meal can bring a packed lunch.  Lunches should be labelled clearly and adhere to the 'Healthy School' guidelines,  We ask that you do not include sweets, chocolate bars or fizzy drinks in your child's lunch box. We are also a 'Nut Free' school and items containing nuts (such as Nutella) are not permitted.

For reasons of safety we are unable to allow the use of glass bottles or cans. Plastic bottles or cartons of drink are perfectly acceptable.

School Milk:
Free school milk is available to children under five only. We currently do not have a facility for children to have milk in school across the Key Stages. Water is provided daily with a school meal.
